Deck overview

This Mardu deck leverages Jirina Kudro to lead an aggressive Human tribal strategy. It establishes early board presence through efficient 1-drop and 2-drop Humans and low-cost mana rocks before casting Jirina on turn 4. Jirina provides an immediate static +2/+0 anthem to all other Humans and creates token bodies on entry. The deck rapidly scales its combat damage output using force multipliers such as Shared Animosity, Horn of Gondor, and Adeline, Resplendent Cathar. Card draw engines like Skullclamp and Mentor of the Meek convert 1/1 tokens into fresh resources, while efficient spot removal spells (Swords to Plowshares, Dire Tactics) clear critical blockers and opposing threats. Board protection from Flawless Maneuver, Boros Charm, and Jirina, Dauntless General ensures the swarm survives opposing sweepers to close out games across turns 6 and 7.
