Deck overview

This Grixis spellslinger deck leverages Norman Osborn // Green Goblin to convert discarded cards into discounted spells via mayhem. Early turns focus on deploying cheap mana rocks, filtering hands through Norman's unblockable connive trigger, and preparing key burn payoffs. On Turn 4, Norman transforms into Green Goblin, granting every discarded nonland card mayhem and reducing graveyard cast costs by two generic mana. On Turn 5, the deck initiates an explosive storm turn by casting wheels like Windfall and free-untap spells like Frantic Search. Pingers such as Fiery Inscription, Firebrand Archer, and Guttersnipe, especially when amplified by Ojer Axonil, Deepest Might, deal lethal noncombat damage to all opponents simultaneously. The list protects its critical turns using high-tempo interaction like Deflecting Swat, Flare of Denial, and Hexing Squelcher.
