Commander: Yidris, Maelstrom Wielder

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Yidris, Maelstrom Wielder is the cascade engine of a four-color deck that wants to connect once in combat, then use the cascade window to chain draw, ramp, and extra-combat pieces into a hasty board. The primary plan uses Yidris plus Genji Glove or Port Razer to generate multiple combat phases and double strikes, stacking several cascade triggers in a single turn. Secondary paths are hard-casting Maelstrom Wanderer and Apex Devastator, whose own cascades take over if Yidris is unavailable. A small Hullbreaker Horror/Birgi/Sol Ring loop can make infinite mana, but it is inefficient and not the main route. The deck is a mid-speed value-combat deck rather than a fast combo deck.
