08C - Yuriko, Tiger's Shadow by rawbin

Format: Commander

Commander: Yuriko, the Tiger's Shadow

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Yuriko is a cheap, repeatable drain engine and card-advantage engine. The primary plan is to put an unblockable one-drop onto the battlefield, ninjutsu Yuriko out early, and then chain multiple Ninjas into combat while stacking high-mana-value cards on top for huge life-loss triggers. Secondary paths are extra-turn spells (Temporal Trespass, Alrund's Epiphany) and theft effects (Fallen Shinobi, Silent-Blade Oni, Nashi, Ink-Eyes, Opposition Agent, Dauthi Voidwalker) that apply pressure from opponents' libraries and hands. Top-deck manipulation via Vampiric Tutor, Mystical Tutor, Lim-Dul's Vault, Sensei's Top and Scroll Rack makes each trigger count. There is no hidden commander; Yuriko is both the setup and the payoff.
