Araña, Heart of the Spider by mnapkins

Format: Commander

Commander: Araña, Heart of the Spider

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

This Boros counters deck pushes early modified attackers, grows them with +1/+1 counters, and converts combat damage into card advantage via Arana, Kami of Celebration, and other exile-cast engines. The commander is a compact draw engine and counter source; the deck can function at a lower power without her thanks to strong creatures and lord effects. Secondary paths include wide token swarms with Chocobo Knights double strike, life gain from Sunscorch Regent, and a handful of flexible removal spells. The plan is aggressive but with enough card draw and recursion to sustain a midrange beatdown role.
