Deck overview

This deck is a high-velocity Rakdos spellslinger and burn strategy commanded by Kuja, Genome Sorcerer. The game plan focuses on deploying efficient Wizard creatures and chaining low-mana noncreature spells to trigger continuous, table-wide life loss. Kuja anchors the board by generating 0/1 Wizard tokens with built-in noncreature spell ping triggers on your end step, quickly transforming into Trance Kuja, Fate Defied once you control four Wizards. In Trance form, Kuja doubles all damage dealt by your Wizards, turning ordinary cantrips, rituals, and removal spells into devastating burst damage. Redundant pingers such as Coruscation Mage and Guttersnipe, along with damage boosters like Mechanized Warfare and Tor Wauki the Younger, ensure continuous pressure. Mana engines like Birgi, God of Storytelling and Storm-Kiln Artist enable explosive storm turns to burn out all three opponents simultaneously.
