Sam and Frodo Update 2026 by girom301

Format: Commander

Commander: Sam, Loyal Attendant and Frodo, Adventurous Hobbit

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Abzan Food deck built around Sam, Loyal Attendant and Frodo, Adventurous Hobbit. Sam provides a free Food each combat and makes Food activations cheaper, while Frodo offers ring-tempt card draw. The primary plan is to generate Food tokens, convert them into life, cards, mana, and creatures, then drain opponents with Mirkwood Bats, Agent of the Iron Throne, or Sanguine Bond. Secondary wins come from combat pumps such as Pippin, Warden of Isengard and Night of the Sweets' Revenge. Peregrin Took plus Experimental Confectioner and Ashnod's Altar forms the main infinite Food/Rat loop. Frodo, Sauron's Bane is an alternate ring-based kill. There is no true hidden commander, but Merry and Pippin, Warden of Isengard can operate as a secondary engine when drawn.
