Deck overview

This is a Golgari self-mill and graveyard-value midrange deck helmed by the partner pair Fang, Fearless l'Cie and Vanille, Cheerful l'Cie, who can meld into Ragnarok, Divine Deliverance. The plan fills the graveyard rapidly with mill engines, then converts that stockpile into oversized Lhurgoyfs, recursion engines, and life-drain payoffs. Fang, Fearless l'Cie turns every recursion or leave-the-graveyard event into card advantage, while Vanille, Cheerful l'Cie mills and recovers permanents on entry and enables the meld. Primary wins come from combat with Lord of Extinction, Mortivore, Old Stickfingers, and Polygoyf, backed by Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord drains, Syr Konrad, the Grim pings, and Grist, the Hunger Tide's ultimate. The deck is a classic grind-oriented Golgari pile that out-values the table once the graveyard is deep.
