Commander: Yuriko, the Tiger's Shadow

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This is a lean Dimir tempo-combo deck built around Yuriko, the Tiger's Shadow, with an average mana value of just 1.62. The early game is a swarm of unblockable one-mana creatures that enable commander ninjutsu on turn two, turning every ninja hit into a free draw and life loss. Yuriko churns through cantrips, top-deck manipulation, and compact tutors to assemble the deck's primary deterministic kill: Thassa's Oracle plus Demonic Consultation. If the combo is disrupted, the same ninja shell can pivot to attrition damage, using Tetsuko Umezawa, Fugitive to make the entire 1-power team unblockable and Mist-Syndicate Naga / Thousand-Faced Shadow to multiply ninja triggers. Fast mana in the form of Dark Ritual, Culling the Weak, and Sol Ring gives the deck genuine tournament-speed openings.
