Squirrel Girl

Format: Commander

Commander: The Unbeatable Squirrel Girl

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a classic mono-green Squirrel token-swarm build, helmed by The Unbeatable Squirrel Girl. The plan is simple: flood the board with 1/1 Squirrels through a dozen-plus token generators, pump them with a stacked anthem suite (Squirrel Sovereign, Deep Forest Hermit, Chitterspitter, Banner of Kinship, Eldrazi Monument), and finish with an overrun effect (Overrun, Preposterous Proportions, Beastmaster Ascension) or by exploding the board with the commander's X-ability. The deck's spike is the Scurry Oak + Ivy Lane Denizen infinite-Squirrel loop, which it can run out as an alternate kill, ideally under Crashing Drawbridge. It is a fair, board-centric deck that trades tutor density and stack interaction for overwhelming token generation and numerous individually redundant threats.
