Deck overview

This deck is a high-power 5-color Legendary Aggro-Midrange strategy commanded by Jodah, the Unifier. It uses efficient 1-mana and 2-mana acceleration, including Delighted Halfling, Birds of Paradise, and Bloom Tender, alongside an extensive 5-color fetch and shock mana base to cast Jodah reliably by Turn 3 or 4. Once Jodah is on the battlefield, casting any legendary spell triggers a pseudo-cascade that cheats an additional legendary permanent onto the board while simultaneously granting massive +X/+X power buffs to the entire team. The deck protects its explosive board state using format-ceiling free spells like Fierce Guardianship and Deflecting Swat, silence effects like Grand Abolisher and Ranger-Captain of Eos, and phasing protection via Teferi's Protection. Asymmetric hate pieces like Drannith Magistrate and Lavinia, Azorius Renegade slow down faster opposing combo strategies while Jodah closes the game through overwhelming combat damage across Turns 5 and 6.
