Shadowwood Syndicate (Lathril, Blade of the Elves) by mitzu

Format: Commander

Commander: Lathril, Blade of the Elves

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This Golgari Elf tribal deck builds a wide board and wins through combat and life drain. Lathril, Blade of the Elves is the central engine: she creates Elf tokens when she deals combat damage and drains each opponent for 10 when you tap ten untapped Elves. The primary plan is to flood the board with Elves, use lords and token doublers to grow, then close with overrun effects or repeated drain. Secondary paths include Shaman of the Pack and Skemfar Shadowsage enter drains, Throne of the God-Pharaoh end-step drain, and Coat of Arms combat. Priest of Titania and Elvish Warmaster act as hidden commanders that generate mana and tokens even without Lathril.
