Commander: The Notary Hobbits

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

The Notary Hobbits leads a mono-green ramp deck that aims to flood the battlefield with Halfling and Changeling tokens, then use the commander's tap ability to generate enormous amounts of colorless mana. The primary plan is to ramp to five mana by turn three, cast the commander for three Notary Hobbits, and then multiply token copies with Springleaf Parade, Second Harvest, and Mutable Explorer. Once a haste source is online, Hydra Broodmaster or a giant Genesis Wave turns that mana into a lethal board. The secondary path is to cast high-end Eldrazi like Ulamog and Kozilek to remove threats and draw cards. Although the commander is powerful, the deck's mana dorks and land-ramp spells let it function without it, merely one turn slower.
