Dark Lord by ThomasNamibia

Format: Commander

Commander: Sauron, the Dark Lord

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

An amass/tempt midrange deck built around Sauron, the Dark Lord. Sauron punishes opponents' spells with Army growth and converts Ring tempt triggers into discard-plus-draw-four, making him the card-advantage engine. The deck uses amass spells and Saruman, the White Hand to make one giant Army, then finishes with Assault on Osgiliath or Widespread Brutality. Lord of the Nazgul provides an alternate path by turning each instant/sorcery into a 3/3 Wraith and eventually a 9/9 squadron. Recursion from Ringwraiths, Gollum, and Sauron the Necromancer helps rebuild. The plan is linear but powerful; however it leans heavily on Sauron and is vulnerable to artifact hate and board wipes.
