Deck overview

Tobias, Doomed Conqueror leads an Azorius aristocrats and token swarm deck that turns creature deaths into overwhelming board presence. The primary strategy involves sacrificing low-cost recursive nontoken creatures, triggering death payoffs, and using mass recursion spells to loop the board. With sacrifice outlets like Ashnod's Altar or Spawning Pit, Tobias and engines like Sun Titan generate endless death triggers and wide armies of Zombies and Spirits. The deck closes out games either by swinging with a massive evasion-boosted token army through Mirror Entity, Aven Wind Guide, and On Wings of Gold, or by executing infinite sacrifice and recursion loops.
