Emma's Wolf by user8064902

Format: Commander

Commander: Chief of the Wilds

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

This is a Golgari Wolf-tribal deck built around Chief of the Wilds's Panharmonicon-style ability: every triggered ability of another Wolf or battle fires an additional time, while the commander grows whenever another Wolf enters. The plan is to flood the battlefield with 2/2 Wolf tokens from a dense package (Hollowhenge Overlord, Chief Warg's Company, Nightpack Ambusher, Howling Moon, Wolfcaller's Howl, Ranger Class), double those triggers with the commander, layer +1/+1 counters via Hardened Scales, Ozolith, the Shattered Spire, and The Earth Crystal, and finish with a massive alpha strike from Overwhelming Stampede, Unnatural Growth, or Beastmaster Ascension. A grind axis runs through Cauldron of Essence, Bloodline Bidding, and Invasion of Shandalar; Sarulf, Realm Eater and Kindred Dominance supply one-sided board control. There are no infinite combos - the deck wins through deliberate combat inevitability.
