Deck overview

Ghyrson Starn, Kelermorph commands an aggressive Izzet spellslinger deck engineered to amplify single points of damage into devastating three-damage hits. The primary plan deploys low-cost pinging creatures such as Firebrand Archer and Kessig Flamebreather, resolves Ghyrson, and attaches card-drawing auras like Curiosity, Ophidian Eye, or Tandem Lookout. Once assembled, every noncreature spell deals three damage to each opponent while drawing three replacement cards, fueling a rapid chain of one-mana cantrips, rituals, and storm payoffs that eliminates all three opponents on Turn 4. The deck packs exceptional interaction, utilizing ten efficient counterspells and one-sided board wipes like End the Festivities to suppress enemy boards while protecting its own combo turns. Even if the commander is removed, redundant pingers and mana engines like Birgi, God of Storytelling and Storm-Kiln Artist maintain a lethal storm plan with minimal delay.
