Exil by TheGoofOne

Format: Commander

Commander: Faldorn, Dread Wolf Herald

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a Gruul "cast from exile" value deck helmed by Faldorn, Dread Wolf Herald, built to weaponize every exile-cast trigger in the format. The core loop is simple: deploy repeatable exile engines like Chandra, Torch of Defiance, Urabrask, Heretic Praetor, Bonehoard Dracosaur, and Stolen Strategy, then convert those free/cheap casts into a growing army of 2/2 Wolf tokens via Faldorn, Iraxxa, Empress of Mars tokens, and Primeval Bounty Beasts. The deck finishes through combat overruns - Craterhoof Behemoth and End-Raze Forerunners - backed by Purphoros, God of the Forge and Nico Minoru, Runaway as incidental burn. Etali, Primal Conqueror and Apex Devastator provide explosive cascade chains that can end games out of nowhere. It is a midrange value deck that wins by burying opponents in card advantage and then swinging with a hasted, pumped board.
