Deck overview

This deck is a five-color aggressive midrange build helmed by partner commanders Michelangelo, the Heart and Leonardo, the Balance. The strategy centers on generating Food and artifact tokens to trigger team-wide +1/+1 counters, creating an overwhelming combat presence. Michelangelo provides early aggression, counter distribution, and consistent Food generation starting on turn 2. Leonardo converts every token into a global stat boost and offers a game-ending five-color combat buff granting menace, trample, and lifelink. The supporting 99 maximizes counter growth through multipliers like Branching Evolution and Doubling Season, while turning tokens into mana via Jaheira, Friend of the Forest and The Cabbage Merchant. Lethal damage is delivered through evasion pieces like Herald of Secret Streams and Hadana's Climb. The list features high-tier free interaction and protection spells such as Fierce Guardianship, Deflecting Swat, and Teferi's Protection, which safeguard the board while closing out opponents through combat over turns 6 to 8.
