Deck overview

This deck is a Jund -1/-1 counters and aristocrats engine commanded by Auntie Ool, Cursewretch. The strategy focuses on distributing -1/-1 counters across both friendly and opposing creatures to trigger card draw, life drain, and token generation. Early turns establish mana acceleration to deploy Auntie Ool alongside engines like Hapatra, Vizier of Poisons, Generous Patron, and Nest of Scarabs. In the midgame, anchors such as Yawgmoth, Thran Physician, Maha, Its Feathers Night, and Carnifex Demon suppress opposing boards through asymmetric attrition and combat locks via Kulrath Knight. The deck finishes games around Turn 7 by chaining counter placements into massive drain triggers from Obelisk Spider, Ayara, First of Locthwain, Vengeful Bloodwitch, and All Will Be One. While lacking targeted tutors and heavy stack protection, the deck compensates with overwhelming raw card advantage and high functional redundancy.
