Deck overview

This deck is an Esper Sphinx tribal engine commanded by The Ur-Sphinx. The game plan uses early ramp, cost reduction from Eminence and Heartless Summoning, and a dense package of 10 Sphinx's Approach spells to churn through the library and tutor key creatures. On Turn 5, the deck deploys central value engines such as Unesh, Criosphinx Sovereign or Consecrated Sphinx to bury opponents in card advantage and fuel the graveyard. By Turn 6, it transitions into critical pressure with heavy hitters like Magister Sphinx, Medomai the Ageless, Tivit, Seller of Secrets, or mass reanimation via Rise of the Dark Realms. Blink engines like Teleportation Circle and Displacer Kitten repeatedly trigger powerful enter-the-battlefield abilities to reset opponent life totals and generate massive tempo, closing the game around Turn 7.
