Atraxa Poison Counter by piper109

Format: Commander

Commander: Atraxa, Praetors' Voice

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a blue-green-white-black proliferate deck whose primary plan is to put early poison counters on all opponents with infect/toxic creatures and global poison spells, then snowball those counters with Atraxa and every proliferate trigger available. The secondary path is a counter-doubling combo: Vorinclex plus Vraska, Betrayal's Sting can immediately poison a player via her ultimate. Skithiryx, the Blight Dragon acts as a resilient flying infect finisher, and Ixhel, Scion of Atraxa rewards poisoning the table with card advantage. There is no hidden double-faced commander; Atraxa is the engine that the deck uses to accelerate the clock. The deck plays a patient midrange game, using unblockable/flying infecters and repeated proliferate spells to close before opposing board states stabilize.
