Deck overview

This mono-black deck is a Shadowborn Apostle grind deck built around Shirei, Shizo's Caretaker. You flood the board with 29 copies of the 1/1 Apostle, sacrifice six to tutor a Demon directly to the battlefield, and use Shirei to return those Apostles at the next end step to repeat the loop. Razaketh, the Foulblooded and Rune-Scarred Demon act as hidden commanders that turn sacrifices into any tutor target. The primary win is incremental drain from Blood Artist, Syr Konrad, Agent of the Iron Throne and Funeral Room, with Liliana's Contract as an alternate Demon win. Shirei is repeatable recursion and protection, not a combo engine.
