Deck overview

This deck is a Gruul Artifact Stompy list commanded by Aerid Konstrari. The strategy focuses on accumulating wide boards of artifact tokens—including Heartwood, Treasures, Clues, Food, and Lander tokens—to accelerate mana velocity and scale explosive combat finishers. Early turns deploy dense low-cost acceleration and token generators like Gala Greeters, Tireless Provisioner, and Biotech Specialist. Casting Aerid on Turn 4 establishes a steady mana source and an evasive threat that grows exponentially with artifact counts. By Turn 5, the deck pivots into critical onset, activating Aerid for lethal flying strikes or casting devastating overrun threats like Craterclaw Colossus and Depthshaker Titan. While reactive interaction and stax are kept minimal, the deck exhibits remarkable engine recovery because Aerid creates mana-producing Heartwood tokens on both entry and death. The result is a resilient, proactive midrange deck that overwhelms tables through sheer resource scaling and trampling combat damage.
