Deck overview

This deck is an explosive Izzet spellslinger and token storm strategy helmed by Ovika, Enigma Goliath. The primary plan ramps aggressively during the first four turns using a dense suite of 33 mana artifacts, aiming to deploy Ovika on turn 5. Once Ovika untaps on turn 6, every noncreature spell produces an army of 1/1 Phyrexian Goblin tokens with inherent haste. The deck leverages powerful payoff spells like Harmonized Crescendo to draw massive bursts of cards and Divergent Transformations to polymorph tokens into the only two creatures in the 99: Chief Engineer and Molten Gatekeeper. Chief Engineer allows the deck to convoke all remaining artifact rocks, triggering Ovika repeatedly and enabling Molten Gatekeeper or Impact Tremors to burn out the table immediately. Alternatively, Nanogene Conversion turns the token army into non-legendary copies of Ovika for a decisive flying combat assault. While lethal when active, the deck relies heavily on Ovika surviving a full turn rotation.
