Deck overview

This deck is a Rakdos aggressive combat and burn build centered on Obosh, the Preypiercer as its damage-multiplying commander. The game plan relies on deploying cheap, aggressive odd-mana-value creatures such as Rakdos Cackler, Grimdancer, and Anax, Hardened in the Forge during the early turns. Casting Obosh on Turn 5 doubles all damage dealt by odd-cost sources, turning modest board states into serious combat threats by Turn 6. The deck looks to close the game across Turns 7 and 8 through doubled combat swings, pump spells like Volcanic Rush, burn triggers like Titan Hunter, or devastating finishers such as Dictate of the Twin Gods and Terror of Mount Velus. The list features functional spot removal and burst card draw, but it is constrained by a lack of fast mana ramp, limited stack interaction, and reliance on natural top-decks for high-impact finishers. It functions as a focused, synergistic mid-power combat deck vulnerable to sweepers.
