Deck overview

Gev, Scaled Scorch is a Rakdos aristocrats combo deck. The primary plan is to cast Gev early, use its Lizard cast trigger to make an opponent lose life, then loop a persist creature (Putrid Goblin or Lesser Masticore) through a sacrifice outlet while Gev's static +1/+1 counter cancels the -1/-1 counter. Goblin Bombardment or a drain creature turns the loop into a win. Secondary paths include First Day of Class as a backup counter enabler, Buried Alive plus reanimation to assemble from the graveyard, and aggressive Lizard synergies with Agate Instigator, Fireglass Mentor, and Professional Face-Breaker. Gev is both the counter engine and a Lizard payoff; there is no hidden commander.
