Format: Commander

Commander: Ultron the Annihilator

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Ultron is a mono-black artifact-combo deck that spends fast mana and heavy tutoring to assemble self-contained artifact loops. Ultron itself is support: his Robot tokens provide sacrifice fodder and his second trigger drains opponents as artifacts die or are milled. The main wins are Basalt Monolith + Rings of Brighthearth into Walking Ballista, Mikaeus, the Unhallowed + Walking Ballista with a drain trigger, and Bolas's Citadel + Sensei's Divining Top + Aetherflux Reservoir. Sacrifice outlets and recursion pieces form backup loops, while Necropotence, Mystic Forge, and The One Ring keep the hand full. The commander is not required for any primary line.
