Deck overview

This deck is a Mardu artifact aggro and direct-damage strategy commanded by Megatron, Tyrant // Megatron, Destructive Force. The primary game plan revolves around accelerating into Megatron in its converted Vehicle form on turn 4, then attacking on turn 5 while sacrificing high-mana-value artifact creatures such as Metalwork Colossus, Scuttling Doom Engine, or large affinity beaters. Megatron deals damage equal to the sacrificed artifact's mana value to an opposing creature, trampling all excess damage directly into that player's life total while converting to its Tyrant face. In the postcombat main phase, Megatron converts again to generate a massive burst of colorless mana scaled to the total life lost by opponents that turn. This surplus mana fuels explosive follow-up turns, deploying massive artifact boards via Chiss-Goria, Forge Tyrant, Saheeli's Directive, and Mystic Forge. The deck leverages recursion engines like Scrap Trawler and Skeleton Shard to reuse its sacrificed ammunition while beating down opponents over multiple combat rotations.
