The Stomping Grounds by Neffy

Format: Commander

Commander: Maular, the Next Evolution

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Maular, the Next Evolution commands a distinctive five-color stompy strategy enabled by its rulebreaker ability, permitting any creature with mana value seven or greater alongside basic lands of all types. The deck focuses on accelerating mana rapidly through green ramp dorks, land sorceries, and cheat effects like Monster Manual or Elvish Piper to deploy game-ending leviathans ahead of curve. Once on the battlefield, Maular doubles the power and toughness of attacking high-cost creatures, turning threats like Gishath, Sun's Avatar and Etali, Primal Conqueror into lethal strikes. Supported by damage multipliers and trample enablers, the deck crushes opponents beneath overwhelming combat damage.
