Deck overview

This mono-green stompy deck uses land-based ramp and cost-efficient high-power creatures to accelerate and cast Ghalta, Primal Hunger ahead of curve. By deploying cards like Gigantosaurus, Vorapede, and Cavern Stomper, the deck reduces Ghalta's casting cost to its minimum of {G}{G} by Turn 5. Once on the board, Ghalta uses its 12/12 trample body to pressure opponents with lethal commander damage over consecutive combat steps. High-end threats like Worldspine Wurm and Apex Altisaur provide backup offensive power. The deck focuses heavily on proactive board presence and combat damage while running minimal reactive interaction, relying on overwhelming power, pump effects, and damage prevention spells to close out games.
