Deck overview

This deck is a high-power Grixis reanimator strategy led by Kefka, Court Mage // Kefka, Ruler of Ruin. The primary game plan focuses on discarding or entombing massive threats such as Archon of Cruelty, Lord Xander, the Collector, and Hoarding Broodlord, then cheating them into play on Turns 3 to 4 with efficient reanimation spells like Reanimate and Animate Dead. Kefka, Court Mage provides secondary card advantage and hand attrition, converting symmetric discard into a personal hand refill. Payoffs like Waste Not and Archfiend of Ifnir capitalize on discard triggers to clear opposing boards and generate mana. While the deck lacks compact infinite combos, its dense package of evasive beaters, board sweepers, and protective interaction grinds down opposing life totals and cards, closing games cleanly across multiple turns of overwhelming combat pressure.
