Aang and Katara and their Expendable Army by user7151726

Format: Commander

Commander: Aang and Katara

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This Bant deck wins by creating an overwhelming token army and converting it into lethal damage. The commander, Aang and Katara, is a repeatable snowball: each enter or attack trigger makes a number of 1/1 Allies equal to your tapped artifacts and creatures, and the deck multiplies that with Anointed Procession, Mondrak, Parallel Lives, and similar effects. Secondary paths include instant-convoke token bursts (March of the Multitudes, Grand Crescendo) and noncombat drain from Throne of the God-Pharaoh. The commander is an engine rather than a finisher; no hidden commander exists. The deck aims to mass a wide board, then win via Craterhoof Behemoth, Moonshaker Cavalry, Beastmaster Ascension, Jazal Goldmane, or Katara waterbend.
