Deck overview

This is a Grixis amass deck built around Sauron, the Dark Lord. The primary plan is to grow one enormous Army token with amass triggers from Saruman, the White Hand, March from the Black Gate, and the many amass spells; when that Army deals damage, the Ring tempts you, and Sauron turns the discard into a four-card refill. Secondary paths are commander damage from Sauron himself and slow, incremental burn from The Great Goblin. Saruman acts as a hidden lieutenant rather than a second commander, multiplying every noncreature spell. Win lines usually end with Assault on Osgiliath granting double strike to the Army, or with three unblockable attacks from Sauron.
