Glorious Purpose by Daybreak

Format: Commander

Commander: Loki, the Deceiver

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Loki, the Deceiver is a Grixis Villain-tribal engine that wins by attacking with a growing wave of token copies while drawing cards off combat damage. Loki's attack trigger multiplies your best Villain each combat, and that combat damage both draws cards and feeds discard payoffs. The deck leans on connive and discard value to filter into more Villains, uses cost reducers and treasure to accelerate, and finishes with tribal anthems like The Squadron Sinister and Doctor Octopus. Secondary paths include Plan enchantments that turn Villain-cast triggers into free spells and graveyard recursion through Mayhem and Bloodline Bidding. The commander is single-faced; The Squadron Sinister acts as the hidden finisher in the 99, powering a final swing with flying and haste.
