A Vein with Haste by Buddadragon

Format: Commander

Commander: Ognis, the Dragon's Lash

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This Jund deck helmed by Ognis, the Dragon's Lash is a high-synergy treasure generation and haste combat strategy. The primary game plan is to deploy creatures with haste (or grant haste via Fervor, Rhythm of the Wild, Urabrask the Hidden), attack to trigger Ognis s ability, and accumulate a massive hoard of Treasure tokens. These tokens fuel explosive draw spells (Big Score, Unexpected Windfall), drain effects (Reckless Fireweaver, Mayhem Devil, Mirkwood Bats), and alternate win conditions like Hellkite Tyrant s twenty artifacts trigger. The deck wins through incremental combat damage combined with artifact based pinging, often finishing with Marionette Master or a huge Hellkite Igniter. It lacks infinite combos but compensates with redundancy in haste creatures and treasure payoffs.
