Deck overview

This five-color Commander deck helmed by Tiamat operates as a high-powered Dragon tribal stompy and burst-damage engine. The primary game plan focuses on spending the early turns ramping and fixing mana across all five colors. On turn 5, the deck casts Tiamat to tutor five distinct Dragon payoffs straight into hand, typically grabbing Miirym, Sentinel Wyrm, Terror of the Peaks, Scourge of Valkas, Old Gnawbone, and Ganax, Astral Hunter. On turn 6, the deck converts these dragons into an explosive same-turn finish using mana-cheating engines like Sneak Attack or haste enablers like Dragon Tempest and Temur Ascendancy. When dragons enter, Miirym, Sentinel Wyrm duplicates them while Terror of the Peaks and Scourge of Valkas deal massive direct damage that burns out all three opponents simultaneously. The deck also features extensive clone redundancy, powerful tutors, and resilient reanimation backups.
