Kefka by againstthestatic

Format: Commander

Commander: Kefka, Court Mage // Kefka, Ruler of Ruin

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Grixis spell-slinger value deck built around the double-faced Kefka. Front face, Court Mage, is the early disruption engine: discarding hands, drawing per card type, and setting up the {8} transform. The deck is built for the back face, Ruler of Ruin: it flies, attacks for 5, and turns every point of life loss into cards, so the noncreature pingers (Coruscation Mage, Firebrand Archer, Guttersnipe) become a draw-burn loop. Demonic Tutor and Buried Alive assemble the hidden commander Kefka Dancing Mad, which free-casts players' discarded cards. Heavy instant-speed interaction and wraths keep the board clear until the burn chain wins.
