Deck overview

This deck is a mono-green Bear tribal and stompy strategy led by Beorn the Fierce. The primary game plan curves out with efficient two-drop Bears such as Ayula, Queen Among Bears, Wilson, Refined Grizzly, and Ashcoat Bear, ramps into the mid-game with land-based ramp, and casts Beorn on Turn 4 or 5. Once assembled, Beorn converts any non-Bear into a Bear, grants trample counters, buffs the entire board with a +2/+2 anthem, and draws two fresh cards at the beginning of every combat step when controlling three or more Bears. This continuous card advantage fuels subsequent turns, allowing the deck to deploy overwhelming beatsticks like Ghalta, Primal Hunger, Avenger of Zendikar, and Lumra, Bellow of the Woods. The deck wins entirely through combat damage, utilizing trampling threats to punch through blockers over three opponent response cycles while relying on instant-speed protection and fight spells to maintain board presence.
