Deck overview

This Grixis deck is built around Obeka, Brute Chronologist and her unique ability to end the turn on command. By ending the turn while delayed 'at the beginning of the next end step' or 'at end of combat' sacrifice and exile triggers are on the stack, Obeka permanently exiles those triggers. This allows temporary token copies, myriad tokens, encore creatures, and unearth effects to remain on the battlefield indefinitely. The deck ramps on Turn 2, casts Obeka on Turn 3 or 4, and begins deploying powerful temporary clone engines like Feldon of the Third Path, Araumi of the Dead Tide, Jaxis, the Troublemaker, and Coastline Marauders. Once an army of high-power tokens is made permanent, the deck overwhelms all three opponents through compounded combat damage across Turns 6 to 8.
