Commander: Doctor Doom, King of Latveria

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

This is a Grixis Villain-tribal deck built around the discard-matters trigger of Doctor Doom, King of Latveria. The primary game plan is to generate incremental value through the connive mechanic, leveraging the commander's land-discard drain and the combat-triggered menace/connive to turn every Villain into a multi-threat. The deck aims to grind out card advantage with Black Market Connections, Archnemesis, and Titan of Littjara, then close the game via combat damage from hasty token copies created by Living Laser or the anthem effect of The Squadron Sinister. It is a midrange value deck that relies on accumulating small edges over several turns rather than assembling a fast combo.
