Commander: The Astonishing Ant-Man

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

The Astonishing Ant-Man commands an explosive Simic deck built around translating high-velocity card draw into an overwhelming swarm of Insect tokens. The commander enters early, accumulating +1/+1 counters whenever you draw cards, and subsequently converts those counters into a wide board of 1/1 green Insects. Mana conversion engines like Cryptolith Rite and Jaheira, Friend of the Forest turn these tokens into enormous mana reservoirs. You win the game by channeling this mana into a game-ending Finale of Devastation, an Overwhelming Stampede, direct life drain via Psychosis Crawler, or infinite mana loops combining Badgermole Cub with Pemmin's Aura.
