Deck overview

This deck is a Naya midrange strategy built around Toph, the First Metalbender and the earthbend mechanic. The primary game plan ramps into Toph by Turn 3 or 4, animating lands into 0/0 creatures with haste and +1/+1 counters that return to the battlefield tapped if they die. The deck scales this board state using counter doublers like Hardened Scales and The Earth Crystal, as well as landfall engines like Felidar Retreat and Tireless Provisioner. Critical pressure arrives around Turn 6 through combat amplifiers including Toph, Greatest Earthbender, Bumi, Unleashed, and Moraug, Fury of Akoum, closing the game across sequential combat steps by Turn 8.
