Deck overview

This Edgar Markov deck operates as an aggressive aristocrats and combo engine. It leverages Edgar's eminence ability to produce free 1/1 Vampire tokens on every creature cast, generating relentless board presence and sacrifice fodder. The deck's primary victory route is an infinite life-drain combo pairing Exquisite Blood with Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose or Bloodthirsty Conqueror. Supported by black burst rituals such as Dark Ritual and Culling the Weak, plus unconditional tutors like Vampiric Tutor and Diabolic Intent, the deck regularly threatens this combo on Turn 4. If the combo is contested, the deck seamlessly pivots to a wide combat plan using Shared Animosity, Cathars' Crusade, and Edgar's counter-stacking attacks. Robust card draw from Skullclamp and Welcoming Vampire maintains resource velocity, while Silence and Orim's Chant shield the critical turn from interaction.
