Deck overview

Davros, Dalek Creator commands a Grixis artifact and group slug deck centered on villainous choices, combat manipulation, and Dalek token swarms. The deck accelerates in the opening turns with efficient mana rocks, deploying Davros by Turn 3 or 4. Dealing three life loss to opponents through menace combat or direct burn activates Davros's end-step ability, generating 3/3 menace Dalek artifact tokens while drawing cards or forcing discards. The mid-game leverages goad mechanics via The Rani, The Sound of Drums, and Sontaran General alongside Propaganda to deflect aggression and force opponents into mutual attrition. The late-game closes out the table through mass myriad beatdown from Cybermen Squadron, choice doubling with The Valeyard, or end-step damage amplification with Wound Reflection. Additionally, the deck contains a compact infinite drain combo in Bloodthirsty Conqueror and Marauding Blight-Priest. While vulnerable to mass artifact removal and lacking dense countermagic, the deck exerts persistent pressure through synergistic board development and unavoidable resource attrition.
