Kiora, Sovereign of the Deep leads a hybrid strategy combining Merfolk tribal synergies with titanic sea monsters. The deck ramps aggressively during the opening turns using land enchantments and mana creatures, aiming to resolve Kiora early to exploit her high-cost cascade trigger. Casting Krakens, Leviathans, Octopuses, and Serpents allows you to cast free spells from the top of your library, generating massive board presence. You win by converting raw power into lethal combat damage, bypassing enemy blockers through islandwalk from Lord of Atlantis and Stormtide Leviathan, or by overwhelming the board with a kicked Rite of Replication and high-stat flyers.
