Commander: Smaug the Impenetrable

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This is a Rakdos treasure-and-burn deck helmed by Smaug the Impenetrable, an 8/7 flying, indestructible, hasty Dragon that manufactures Treasures every time it takes noncombat damage. The core loop is to ping Smaug with repeatable damage enchantments like Pestilence and Pyrohemia, convert those Treasures into a flood of mana and artifact triggers, and bury opponents under Reckless Fireweaver-style artifact-ETB burn, sacrifice payoffs like Disciple of the Vault and Mayhem Devil, or a massive Torment of Hailfire. Xorn and Academy Manufactor multiply the token output, Revel in Riches offers an alternate win condition, and a dense ritual package (Dark Ritual, Seething Song, Jeska's Will) accelerates the commander out early. The deck turns its own damage into inevitability.
