Durin’s Dividends Payout by Ajk810

Format: Commander

Commander: Thorin, King of Durin's Folk

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Thorin, King of Durin's Folk is a Dwarf-tribal Treasure engine: every Dwarf entering creates a Treasure, and Thorin turns those artifact tokens into a lethal +1/+0 army. The hidden commander is Magda, Brazen Outlaw, who both converts tapped Dwarves into Treasures and tutors the deck's artifact/Dragon combo pieces. The primary line assembles The Reaver Cleaver plus an extra-combat effect (Aggravated Assault or Hellkite Charger), then loops combat phases and Treasures. Secondary paths use Goldspan Dragon, Smothering Tithe, Xorn, and Anointed Procession to multiply resources, or Dain/Balin to burn after a mass Dwarf strike. Thorin is a payoff and multiplier, not the required engine.
