Deck overview

The deck uses Norman Osborn // Green Goblin as a combat-enabled discard and graveyard-casting engine. The front face is hard to block, so a successful attack produces connive and helps place nonland cards in the graveyard. After transformation, spells cast from the graveyard cost {2} less, while the mayhem clause rewards cards discarded during the current turn. The list supports this plan with Faithless Looting, Tolarian Winds, Cool but Rude, Smuggler's Copter, Secrets of the Dead, Burning Vengeance, and several discard payoffs. In ordinary games, the transformed setup becomes usable around turn 6, with a meaningful threat around turn 7. The deck has respectable removal and some countermagic, but many lands enter tapped and the plan needs several sequential actions. Its graveyard engine creates strong value and occasional explosive turns, yet the list does not reliably assemble enough damage, mana, and castable graveyard cards to finish all three opponents.
