Deck overview

This deck is an Orzhov Angel tribal and reanimator strategy helmed by Shilgengar, Sire of Famine. The primary game plan focuses on filling the graveyard during early turns using self-mill and discard enablers like Ripples of Undeath and Stitcher's Supplier. Once high-toughness Angels are in position, casting Shilgengar allows the pilot to sacrifice an Angel to generate six or more Blood tokens at zero mana cost. On the subsequent turn, spending three mana to sacrifice those Blood tokens triggers a one-sided mass reanimation effect, returning all creature cards to the battlefield with finality counters. With cards like Avacyn, Angel of Hope, Righteous Valkyrie, and Bishop of Wings, the board becomes an indestructible aerial armada that overwhelms the table over two combat steps. The deck backs up this strategy with efficient spot removal and board protection like Teferi's Protection and Dawn's Truce.
